Honolulu right fielder Jim Rapoport launched a three-run home run over the right field fence in the fourth inning to break a 1-1 tie, and the Sharks held on for the 7-3 victory over visiting West Oahu this afternoon at Honolulu’s Les Murakami Stadium.
The Sharks (5-2-1) notched 10 hits on the day, and Rapoport finished 2-3 with four RBIs and two runs. Teammate Michael Taylor returned to the starting lineup after nursing a sore leg, and collected three base hits including a double.

CaneFires starter Sean Gleason (1-1) took the loss, allowing four runs on four hits through four frames.
Both squads have scheduled days off on Monday, and return to action Tuesday.
