The BeachBoys improved to 17-13 on the season, and extended
their Hawaii Winter Baseball East Division lead to 2 ½ games over the Sharks.
Waikiki took the game’s

defeat.
Waikiki starter Jeremy
Bleich of the New York Yankees improved to 3-1 on the year after tossing five
scoreless innings through which he struck out a game-high nine, and scattered
four hits without surrendering a walk. Jeremy Papelbon closed out the ninth
inning en route to his sixth save of the season.
Honolulu
starter Satoshi Nagai (3-2) took the loss after allowing two runs on three hits
through 4 2/3 innings.
The two squads return to Murakami Stadium tomorrow at 7 p.m.
