Shoji Ohiro and Jason Place each hit two-run home runs to help the Honolulu Sharks cool off the Waikiki BeachBoys, 10-4, tonight in a Hawaii Winter Baseball game before 487 in attendance at Hans L’Orange Park.
The Sharks (5-5) scored three runs in both the first and fourth innings, in accordance with the two long balls. Place added an RBI double and Austin Jackson drove him in on a sacrifice fly in the eighth frame, while Matt Wieters capped the inning with a two-run double to deep center field to put the game out of reach.
