The North Shore Honu erased a five-run deficit thanks to a
six-run outburst in the sixth frame to get by the Honolulu Sharks, 8-6, this
afternoon at
Sharks starter Shingo Matsuzaki pitched brilliantly,
shutting the Honu out through five innings on two hits while striking out five,
and now leads HWB with 37 punch-outs. But
After the Sharks (12-12-1) tied the score at 6-6 in the home

Charles Benoit picked up his league-leading fourth victory after allowing a run in two innings of relief. Takashi Kamoshida took the HWB lead with his third save of the season despite allowing two hits in the ninth inning. Interestingly, Benoit is also tied for second on the list of save leaders.
