Eight of the nine offensive starters in the
Sharks’ starter Jimmy James (2-2, 3.33 ERA) took the victory after holding West Oahu to one run on three hits through five innings through which the Boston Red Sox prospect struck out seven.
Jamie Hoffmann paced the CaneFires (8-19-1), going a perfect 3-3 at the dish with all three West Oahu RBIs. Starter Keisaku Itokazu (3-1, 3.34) was saddled with the loss, allowing six runs on eight hits through three frames on the bump.
